Application

For clamping straight tool shanks with lateral clamping surface in accordance with DIN 1835 form B (Weldon). With coolant bores for optimal cooling of the tool cutting edge.

Execution

• Alloyed case-hardening steel with a core tensile strength of at least 950 N/mm²
• Case-hardened HRC 60 ± 2 (HV 700 ± 50), hardness depth 0.8 mm ± 0.2 mm
• Taper angle: tolerance quality less than AT 3 in accordance with DIN 7187 and DIN 2080.
• black-oxide and precision-ground.

Advantage

• from dia. 25 mm with two clamping screws
• Diameter 6-18 mm with two coolant bores, from dia. 20 mm with four coolant bores.
• An O-ring must be used for tools with an internal coolant supply.
