Application

The US 1100 horizontal shrinking unit can be used to shrink shrink-fit chucks of dia. 3-32 mm (carbide) and dia. 6-32 mm (HSS). The optional pyrometer coil also enables the temperature of the shrink-fit chuck to be controlled automatically and directly during the heating process. This prevents the shrink-fit chuck from burning up. The safe and fast shrinking process does not require any prior identification of the shrink-fit chuck. Automated shrinkage using parameters or manual shrinkage at the touch of just one button is integrated in the standard unit with basic coil.

Execution

The shrink-fit chucks are clamped securely in tool holders that can be changed flexibly to suit the application (HSK25 to HSK100 and SK/BT30 to SK/BT50) and the coil is moved over the tool holder.
A universal tool clamp is also available for centrally clamping all tool taper types.
Worn or broken cutting tools can be ejected using an integrated removal device.
Precise length adjustment possible via an additional retrofit device.
Shrink length: approx. 500 mm.
