Application

Bags and cardboard boxes can be moved effortlessly using the rectangular vacuum frame.

Execution

  • Special load bearing equipment for lifting and handling bags/boxes with the following technical specifications. Loads to be handled: Type: Boxes/bags. Width: min. 200 mm. Length: min. 350 mm. Height: to be defined in mm. Weight: max. 25 kg. Centre of gravity: symmetrical. Properties: Some inherent stability/shape retention. Handling procedure: Moved in same orientation.
  • The system comprises the following modules: Functional principle: load bearing using rectangular vacuum cup, dimensions: 350 x 200 mm, quick-action coupling for easy replacement/exchange of vacuum frame.
  • Assumptions/pre-requisites: The pick-up/put-down areas must be freely accessible from above and free from any contours that could interfere with handling. The load must be free from dust and grease. In order to properly design the load bearing equipment, we require physical samples of loads to be carried, in a manageable condition and at no cost to us.
  • A certain degree of inherent stability/shape retention is indispensable in order to ensure safe handling and to prevent shearing off. A real-world test must be carried out on cardboard boxes and paper bags in advance due to their air-permeable surfaces.

Notes

It is important that the item to be transported is air-tight enough for the vacuum to grip it and not tear it to prevent damage. A degree of inherent stability is advantageous to allow the load to be lifted safely. Whether in logistics or production - the vacuum frame makes handling easier and enables an efficient material flow. This allows heavy or bulky packages to be moved quickly and simply without too much effort. Ideal for operators seeking a simple, reliable solution for transporting such materials.
