Application

Are you ready to take your work with rims to a whole new level? Made possible by our compact pantograph! This practical device lets you handle wheels of all types in the blink of an eye.

Execution

• There gripper features specific soft pads where it contacts the rim plate
• The intelligent switchgear functions similar to a ballpoint pen so you can operate the pantograph with just one hand and very little effort
• The second hand is free to safely guide the load
• Load type: rims. Hub diameter: 55 mm. Hub depth: 50 mm. Weight: max. 60 kg. Centre of gravity: symmetrical. Number of load types: 1 variant
• Handling procedure: Object: to be defined (e.g. pallet, box etc.). Max. pickup height to be defined (mm) (upper edge of load), horizontal alignment. Moved in same orientation. Deposit on pallet, conveyor or transport trolley. Deposit height: to be defined (mm) (upper edge of load), horizontal alignment
• The load-bearing equipment comprises the following components: Pantograph, compact version. Specially dimensioned gripping jaws based on standard rim grippers. Attachment device for quickly centring the load and triggering the switchgear on the rim ribs. Quick-action coupling
• Assumptions/pre-requisites: The pick-up/put-down areas must be freely accessible from above and free from any contours that could interfere with handling. The load must be free from dust and grease. In order to properly design the load bearing equipment, we require 2D/3D data of the loads to be carried or physical samples, in a manageable condition and at no cost to us
• Customer must specify grip diameter (hub diameter) max. one diameter can be gripped
