- Integral foam (PU foam) is especially well suited to harsh environments in which aggressive agents such as oils, greases, metal chips, weak acids and alkalis, humidity or sparks are present. It is also extremely durable when it comes into contact with points and sharp-edged parts. The textured surface of the integral foam also provides slip resistance.
