Application

The ATORN offset parallel set is ideal for precise shimming of workpieces in machine vices. Their technical design means they can be securely attached to the screw-in jaws and enables fast, reproducible positioning. They are ideal for drilling, tapping and milling work where precise workpiece alignment is crucial.

Execution

  • The advantage is in the design: With standard parallels, it is often impossible to machine close to the component edge, as this may result in collisions with the parallels. The offset shape of the ATORN rests prevents this issue and enables unrestricted machining close to edges.
  • Made from hardened tool steel (approx. 62 HRC) for maximum durability
  • Precision-ground with a height tolerance of ±0.01 mm
  • Width of contact surface: 2.0 mm - enables machining close to the vice jaws
