Application

Zero-point clamping system for clamping with optimised setup time for machining and chipless machining. For installation in angle plates, clamping cubes and clamping towers. The horizontal rapid-clamping cylinder enables quick and easy changing of fixtures using the suspension piston by hand, with hydraulics or using a handling device.

Execution

• With manual (by hand) and hydraulic extension and retraction of the suspension piston as standard. The cylinder has one connection: 1x hydraulic opening (1), the cylinder with hydraulic extension has three connections: 1x hydraulic opening (1), 1x hydraulic suspension piston extension (5), 1x hydraulic suspension piston retraction (4).
• Hydraulic opening.
• Operating pressure for opening: min. 50 bar to max. 60 bar.
• Hardened cover and piston.
• Repeat accuracy less than 0.005 mm.

Notes

The horizontal rapid-clamping cylinder has high retention, pull-in and locking forces. It is opened hydraulically (1) and locked mechanically by spring force. The pressure lines can then be disconnected as desired (module is clamped pressure-free). The maximum weight per suspension piston of 5 kN for KH20 and 8 kN for KH40 must not be exceeded. * Please follow the installation instructions.
