Application

Zero-point clamping system for automation solutions, for clamping with optimised setup time for machining and chipless machining.

Execution

  • Pneumatic opening.
  • Operating pressure for opening: min. 8 bar to max. 12 bar.
  • Operating pressure for re-clamping (turbo): min. 5 bar to max. 6 bar.
  • Hardened cover and piston.
  • Flange housing: aluminium
  • Repeat accuracy less than 0.005 mm.

Notes

The installation clamping module with sensor detection has two inductive sensors (connection type: S8 plug, cable length: 150 mm) for status control (open/locked). It is opened pneumatically (1) and locked mechanically by spring force. The device must be briefly pneumatically re-clamped (turbo) (2) to achieve the specified pull-in and locking forces. The pressure lines can then be disconnected as desired (module is clamped pressure-free). It is recommended to use pneumatic pressure booster no. 6370ZVL. The clamping module has two connections: 1 = pneumatic opening, 2 = pneumatic re-clamping (turbo) * Please follow the installation instructions.
